The primary reason for including Latin in our syllabus at St. Peter’s International School was the need to help our students reflect on the Portuguese language, promoting more structured thinking, enhancing communicative competence and carrying out an analysis that promotes relationships between cultures and knowledge.

With the protocol established between St. Peter’s International School and the Cambridge School Classics Project from the University of Cambridge, the school provides its students with access to an international certification in Latin, in which they are subject to an external test, according to the level of each student in the language and following internal assessment carried out by the teachers.
