Honour and Merit Awards

The Honour and Merit Awards are intended to provide an incentive for students and the development of positive attitudes towards school and should not be a form of discrimination.

The Honour and Merit Awards aim to distinguish students who have achieved excellent work, throughout Primary School. They provide an additional incentive to students’ educational development and to develop positive attitudes towards their teaching-learning process.
The Merit Award acknowledges those students who excel in behaviour, which may assume many forms, according to the nature of the activity, like sport, as well as in other areas.

The Honour Awards recognise students who show excellent school results and that produce outstanding academic work or carry out relevant pedagogical activities. These awards include students who, in addition to their excellent academic results, show exemplary behaviour.
