Starting from grade 3 in their Primary School education, our pupils are given the possibility of certifying their level of English with the University of Cambridge examinations. The English Language syllabus adopted at all teaching levels is developed in such a way so as to prepare all our students for the different levels of these exams, considered essential tools for their future.
All students at St. Peter's have the opportunity to acquire the various examination certificates. The first tests taken are Starters, Movers and Flyers, followed by the Cambridge English: Key (KET) and Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET), the Cambridge English: First (FCE) exam, which is taken by the majority of our pupils in grade 9, and finally the more advanced levels, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) exams, taken in Secondary School.
With the protocol established with the British Council, and as an examinations centre, St. Peter's International School also receives candidates from other language school in the Setúbal region, allowing them to take the KET, PET and FCE examinations on our premises.
