For another consecutive year, St. Peter's International School accepted the invitation made by the Portuguese Mathematical Society to participate in the first round of the 38th Portuguese Mathematical Olympics (OPM).

The students Junior, Middle and Secondary School, 267 students in total, took a quiz which included mathematical problems, which tested their reasoning, creativity and imagination with the main objective to encourage and develop a taste for mathematics.

After two hours, the students were very curious about the problem solving process and eager for the result of the qualifiers for the 2nd round.

We are awaiting the names of the students who are qualified for the district phase, which will take place on January 8th.
