On 22nd January, Secondary School students studying Science and Technology at St. Peter's International School went on a trip to the Champalimaud Foundation.

The Champalimaud Foundation conducts research in cutting-edge areas, having the priority of endorsing important discoveries that benefit people, as well as sponsoring new standards in knowledge.

The Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon develops activities in the areas of neuroscience and cancer research programs and clinical services of excellence. In recent years, it has been patron to various research programs aimed at combatting blindness.

This school trip aimed to establish a closer contact with the foundation, allowing students to understand how their institution’s work is developed and what impact it has had on the health of the Portuguese population.
