Model United Nations – Reflection
On 9th November 2018, students from IB1 and IB2 attended the Iberian Model United Nations Conference. The event consisted of simulations of many areas of the United Nations, such as security, medicine, justice and business. The initiative took place at the Cultural Centre of Belem and included illustrious speakers, such as the Ambassador of India to Portugal, K. Nandini Singla.

The experience was very enriching, and it certainly helped students understand the structure and functions of the United Nations as well as to gain some knowledge of international relations. Furthermore, the contact with individuals from different cultures and nationalities has once more encouraged the students to be global thinkers and approach life in an open-minded way.
